Buckhead’s KarmaFarm, one of Atlanta’s go-to, locally owned and operated healthy fast-casuals, is thrilled to announce its upcoming relocation. The brand’s current location at 2277 Peachtree Road will close by the end of this month.
Over email with What Now Atlanta, Co-Founder Scott Wilder shared the whole team is elated to become a part of the Regency family of upscale centers nationwide at 3792 Roswell Road in North Buckhead.
“The Chastain community is such a vibrant part of North Buckhead, and will be an awesome fit for us to continue KarmaFarm’s clean eating mission,” the Atlanta native said. “We’re really looking forward to being a part of the amazing tenant lineup at Powers Ferry Square.”
Wilder says the new location will provide high-volume foot traffic, which is just what the clean, healthy band needs.
“KarmaFarm’s vibrant, high traffic Chastain location will be focused on our top selling clean eating proteins and veggies, served in our PhatYuca homemade arepas and loaded KarmaBowls,” he added. The restaurant is both gluten and dairy-free, a rarity among fast-casuals. “People will certainly travel to their favorite restaurants for their fix. My wife and I certainly do. That’s experiential and worth whatever effort required.”
Like most restaurants in the time of the COVID pandemic, KarmaFarm has experienced a shift in how its patrons enjoy the food.
“Our business model has really evolved and become more efficient as we ‘zigged and zagged’ with all the changes in the world the past two years,” Wilder said. “We’ve really seen our flow go back to true fast-casual roots. Takeout via online ordering and walk-ins now accounts for almost 80 percent of all revenues and shows no sign of slowing down.”
The new space at Powers Ferry Square is much more streamlined, with limited dining space inside and out. Patrons will be able to order their favorite KarmaFarm bites in-person over the counter, and Wilder even shared it’s possible the company will grow at its new location in time.
